This is my current treadmill. I know that there are much better ones on the market, but I have never had any problems with this.
Some cons:
- Will only go for 45 mins before is shuts down to cool off. This is a real pain when more then one person is trying to use it.
- My polar heart rate monitor won't work with it. I can't get my hands on the pulse sensor.
I have read some bad reports on maintenance, but I have not had any issues in 3 years.
All in all though it was a good investment for the first treadmill we bought. If you can get one used at a decent price I would go for it.
I have read some bad reviews of this treadmill on other sites, but I have been using it faithfully for years now without any issues.
I've had this treadmill for one and a half years now, and i go crazy on it. I abuse it more than you should for a 1.5 chp tready. my workout consists of a brief warm-up at around 4.8 km/h then amp it up to a quick sprint at 12.5 km/h. 5 minutes of running, i return to 5.5 km/h on an incline of either 8.0 or 10.0 with hand weights for another 5-10 minutes. I alternate this for around 45 minutes to an hour. Now I'm not saying I'm an expert on treadmills or anything like that... but that's pretty remarkable for a 1.5 chp treadmill. WELL worth the purchase.
