Good afternoon.
I have been using my stationary bicycle on a regular basis. It has started to make an annoying clunking sound but the pedals are still moving smoothly. I spoke with a Sears clerk but he was of no help.
Have you any suggestions?

Probably your stationary bicycle need overhauling. There could be resistance in rotation due to wear and tear of rotating parts.
